Time as a concept is the perception that all aforementioned concepts – persons, environment, society, and culture are bound in a period of time, changing as time continues. It can be examined in all tenses, past, present, and future.
The perception of time is drawn from events of the past, influencing ideas about the present. However, they do not necessarily have to hold meaning in ideas about the future. It is best explored in context, such as the last century or this century, particular decades, or pre- and post-events.
