- Curley is walking around the field, feeling lonely (currently hates Curley)
- She enters, with the intent of talking to someone
- Spots Lennie, doubts at first but walks in anyway
- Feels heard for once but also feels frustrated from Lennie’s behaviour
- Accidentally leaks information about touching her hair
- Doubt and denial, then acceptance rushes as she knew Lennie would not let go
- She screams for help but realises that it is the end, cherishing her last moments and her last breath
- Then, it stops.
